2011 Plunge. Over $4,800 raised! Thank you to all participants,
we had a great time! Join us next year.
The Skaneateles Polar Bear Club would like to extend their gratitude to all who supported, assisted and volunteered for the 2st annual polar bear plunge. The feeling of community support that our group experienced was wonderful. The experience of each of the polar bears was made special by all of the people who showed up to offer their support, especially from our volunteers offered assistance near the warming tent. In particular, the Polar Bear Club would like to extend thanks to; Sunrise Rotary Winterfest, Sherwood Inn, the Village Police Department, the Village Fire Department, SAVES and the Labor Day Race Weekend for all of their support.
We were able to raise over $4,800 to support local causes, which will directly benefit our community. Additionally, we are pleased to offer a fun, creative and exciting event, which will be an annual tradition! We hope to see more people next year, as we plunge once again into the icy waters of Skaneateles Lake.
